New Hanover County residents are eager to get their lawns and gardens in shape this Spring! New Hanover County Water and Sewere District urges residents to follow their voluntary coservation measures.
- Even numbered properties may irrigate lawns between 1 am and 4 am Mondays andThursdays.
- Odd number properties may irrigate between 1 am and 4 am Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Residents watering lawns, flowers, trees, etc. by hand-held hose or drip irrigation system is permitted at any time.
This does not include citizens with private well systems and affects only New Hanover County Water and Sewer District customers. Residents of the city of Wilmington, should continue to obey restrictions set forth by the City.
