The first quarter of 2009 is now known as the beginning of the real estate rebound in Wilmington. Pending home sales index is up 44 percent over December 31, 2008. Seller received 95.5% of asking price in 2008, compared to 93.7% for 1st quarter 2009. 1st Quarter 2009 showed a decrease of 22.7% of homes sold from fourth quarter 2008.
